The 理疗师助理 (PTA) program will prepare you to work, under the supervision of a physical therapist, with physically impaired persons to help reverse adverse effects of physical disability. The therapist and assistant work together to provide appropriate therapeutic intervention and communication within the health care team. We offer an excellent education that prepares each student to pass board exams and to be a successful PTA.
The 理疗师助理 program is a selective admission program. 当你申请学院的时候, you will be accepted into Healthcare Support with a concentration in 理疗师助理 while you complete the prerequisite requirements. The 理疗师助理 program accepts a limited number of students each year and there is a separate application process.

In addition to meeting the requirements outlined in the 基本功能, students who are admitted to the program will be required to pay for and submit to a criminal background check, 药物测试和身体检查.
